About Me

My given name is Queen Nef but I'm also known as Ezrina. I love life. I can't wait to get my B.S in Accounting so I can truly begin to live and accomplish my dreams of owning my own accounting/auditing firm. I am proud of myself as I don't give up on my dreams; for I KNOW YHWH works to bring all good things into existence for me. I have a long way to go to become the patient and peaceful wombn I know I must be; but everyday, I learn from my mistakes. I try to live by the laws of MAAT and I am excited and exhilarated every time I learn new and amazing truths about my marvelously strong, intelligent ancestors. Remember --- "When a people lose the knowledge of who they are, that is, their culture, they lose the very foundation upon which their individual existence and their society is based. To combat this loss, each African person must be equipped with a "Grand Vision of the Future," a vision extending beyond personal interests such that this vision becomes the embodiment of the vital interests and moral centerhood of the entire African World Community. " -Anderson Thompson Blessings to all, *Queen Nef*

Jambo! (hellO)

hello , I really like your page. So many ladies have such cool pages here. I need to know how to do that. We are at the same place, I am wstruggling working on my B.S as well, its and on again off again thing. Kids and financial things always get in the way. I am really trying to decide if I can work part time and go to school full time to just get out already.
Its hard to get a job that will work with me. Its like they find out you in school and they make it harder.

Maybe we can be friends and chat about our trials and tribulations with school and support each other.
Peace

Thicker Than Water

Mawiyah Kai EL-Jamah Bomani

It is a book of poetry and prose. It was written by my husband and I. It contains works about family and the relationships that propel or hinder a family's growth. Thicker Than Water is the first book that my husband and I are doing together. It marks the beginning of our joint venture as self-made publishers. We have been writing for years and submitting to anthologies but now is our time to jump off into the waters of Yemaya/Olokun and let the orisa guide us through the waves.

If you sit back and listen these vignettes will inspire a sense of pride, love, anger, and heartache but in the end you will want to thank the cosmos for the beautiful ones you hold close to the heart. So as blood is thicker than water, may your lineage remain forever a circle unbroken.

May the blood of your ancestors shelter you and yours.
