Thank You...
for replying to my blog post. I am definitely going to take some time out to explore where my interests lie. Funny you mentioned dance class because I have been meaning to research where to go and the like because its been calling me, the desire to move (and would help me lose some weight hehe) When you do come to NY maybe we can collaborate some type of meeting with other YMIB sisters so we can build sip on tea or smoothies ;-) Again thanks, I appreciate your input. Have a beautiful and uplifting day Sis.

SACRED QUEEN
A Queen acting like a pawn...this comment struck me and I wrestled with it's truth. Within me there is a continous revolution and I recognize that my male self is constantly learning how to recognize my female self as a SACRED QUEEN and honor her...for what manifest within me...manifests externally.
As my male self develops internally I look at my partner and I see the King who stands next to me grow with me, with respect and honor that which is the sacred to both the male and the female within me....and within him. Thank you for the support and the reminder to the Queen within to never forget her sacredness and for the male with me to never forget to honor the sacredness of WOMBMAN. This poem was written in a time passed when we did not know ourselves very well. I encourage you to remember we all mirror each other....both male and female...and to use what we see in others to develop ourselves. IRE Ase ~Esubayi

In your desire to heal...
...you are doing so, by bringing forth the truth in your work, I am inspired by the piece you did relative to "saartjie" and comparisons to how we view ourselves today. keep up the great work on your blog.
Coming to SF
Blessings Sis, My husband and I are coming to Cali for a few days. Any cool places and restaurants that are inexpensive that we should check out? We're both vegetarians!

SF Spots
The Mission District and Haight Ashbury are my two favorite areas of the city, and they have lots of organic vegetarian spots. I'm blanking on specific names at the moment, but if you walk around you'll spot them :) In the Mission, most of the eating spots are on Valencia (it runs parallel to Mission) and when you're there head up the hill to Dolores Park, it's lovely! When you go downtown check out Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, they are featuring an exhibit by african american artist Nick Cave that is larger than life and does not disappoint! Also if you go to the Fillmore District, visit the newly built Yoshi's Jazz club (www.yoshis.com), and Fillmore Street is also home to the Church of John Coltrane! Have lots of fun, let me know if you have any more questions :)
