Today is the first day of the rest of your life. I read your comments about not feeling like a sacred woman. I just wanted to say Thank you for being you. Your beads are beautiful and the other creative things that you put your hands to should let you know that we all have our own GIFTS AND TALENTS to share with the world.
just wanted to add you to my sister list if that okay with you

I've been reading the comments of our other Sistas and I must say, you are indeed a gift, and I am grateful coming across this circle to be connected with you.
Look forward to our exchanges,

Only those who go to far can realize how far they can go...
I feel so lost have no idea where to start to make my waistbeads! I've never made jewelry and have no idea what kind of string/rope/lace I should use, no idea how I have to get those lil beads on a string and how to fasten them so they won't fall off or break. Did I mention no idea how much beads I need LOL as you can tell I have no idea how to even start the process. Any advice would be greately appreciated.
First thing if there is a bead shop near you go there and ask them what kind of string to use I use a heavy fishing twine can be found in the fishing section at Walmart or the likes. Find beads you like and buy plenty of them also get some type of fastener I use the clasp sets or the ones that you twist and lock. Start by lining up your beads and off the spool pickup the beads and thread. periodically measure your waist then finish by tying the other clasp and voila. before you know ut you'll have several made.
I have always admired your style on nappturality, so excited you joined the sewing circle can't wait to see what beatiful creations you'll share with us.
Thank you soo much...
