I plan to be in the Atlanta area for a week beginning March 28. I'd like to check out the Black Art Scene while there, any suggestions?
Thanks,
Latifah

Peace and Greeting to all!
It's been a minute since I've posted - it's just been that crazy lately. I will try to blog when it calms a bit this week just to bring everyone up to speed.
Welcome to all the newbies! And What's up to all the oldies-but-goodies, *smile*
I'll be traveling to NYC on business in November and being that I'm a chronic-planner, I'm beginning my travel plans now! I'll be in meetings for 2 days in Manhattan, and then I plan to venture out to Brooklyn for another 2days for me!
Do you live in Brooklyn? Can you recommend a nice (safe and clean, not plush and overpriced, lol) hotel? Can you recommend nice African/Black owned vegan/vegetarian restaurants, book stores, shops, etc? Can you tell me where to STAY AWAY FROM? lol Let's keep it real!
L
ooking forward to visiting NYC again. It'll probably be my last before I leave the states.
Thank you in advance for helping a sista out!
Yours,
Yahfa

So... as the cycle of life turns I again lost another life in my family... Blessing fall upon the earth to a new life.
while I was there.. I capture a video of 1 min 35 seconds. Wish it could have been longer yet that all my digital cam allowed me to take. ..... A path to a hidden little piece of ocean.
Just sharing...

Imagine, passing the bay to run into a ray of green bush, hanging off the edge of a cliff (wishing u had a camera to capture the moment) taking deep breaths as the wind from the waves of the sea takes ur eye sight into a deep pause. No thoughts just a feeling, a feeling of , a feeling of, feeling as if you where the wind and the sea was your homeland. Wondering off into the cliffs to find a private beach, just you alone no others in sight, no fear no worries just you. After a hour at the beach side you continue your journey into the tree's, more ocean more breeze to find ur way back to town.
Previously, I inquired if anyone has traveled to the Caribbean Island of Montego Bay, Jamaica recently ??
If so, what were your methods of preparations and what tips can you offer a first timer ??
I'm thanking you in advance for immediately acknowledging my inquiry. Yet, somehow I lost contact with several people I'd been corresponding with.
