I have a concern about the Chicken Pox Vaccine. We have chosen not to vaccinate our son, as I see many of the sisters here have done as well, but the one thing that concerns me is the Chicken Pox...Have any of you not vaccinated, yet had a child who did get the chicken pox??? If so, was their symptoms worse or the same as the kids who have been vaccinated. I guess I am not sure wha to do, as my child is not around other kids during the day, making him less likely to catch it, but I do not want him to have a worse reaction.
I hope this question makes sense...please let me know if I hould try to clarify it more, and I definitely will.;)
Thanks in advance for your replys!!
Re:Vaccines & The Chicken Pox
My daughter did get the chicken pox. She had a very mild case. Maybe 20 or so bumps, but my question to you is did you ever get chicken pox? I did. I was in 1st grade and I had them allllll over. I can still remember laying on a blanket and my mom putting lotion on me, but to me chicken pox is a childhood illness. It didn't kill me. It itched for a couple days and it passed. It doesn't justify putting unknown toxins in my daughter's body.
