Try this:
Lemon- rub lemon slices on your lips a few times during the day. Lemon will help disinfect, exfoilate & moisturize your lips.
Honey- apply it several times a day & try not to lick it off! Honey is antibacterial, moisturizing & healing.
Chamomile- jus take a steeped tea bag & place over lips. You may also use the tea as a rinse for your lips. Chamomile is very soothing & is known to heal many skin irritations. It is also moisturizing.
Shea butter, Coconut oil & aloe vera are all excellent choices to help increase blood circulation & increase healing in the lips. Apply liberally & often for best results.
DRINK MORE WATER.
AVOID:
petroleum products!!!
lip biting & try not to lick your lips.
All these things increase irritation.
Chapped lips indication of dehydration

Your lips are a reflection of your inner organs. With chapped lips your body is basically pulling moisture from your lips. This ailment dependent upon where it is located on the lip, points to internal imbalance. I would like to suggest plenty of water with out any sweetners or additives. Luv Yall

shea butter's great
for one thing, i have no interest in licking it off. lol.
i keep a little in my desk in case i need it throughout the day. i find that it's REALLY helpful when your lips are peeling (vs. just dry).
