This is a pretty simple but good video on tips and demos of how to wash your locs. This is where I first got the idea to use a spray bottle to apply shampoo to the roots of my hair and it definitely works a lot better than working the shampoo in with your fingers. Spray bottle
Who knew? Sometimes I amaze myself...all these years spraying my locks for manageability and what not, and here it is I can use the spray bottle to evenly distribute shampoo/conditioner...Thanks for the heads up!

this is a good video and it's instructions are easy to follow.
Thi sis great!
I love this how to. Now that my locs are growing longer and longer it is hard to get in the nooks of the hair so the spray bottle idea is great. Thanks sis for the post! ATTITUDE GYAL
Thank you for posting this!
It's hard to find good info. on loc maintenance, and this was extremely informative. The spray bottle makes a lot of sense, I was having trouble distributing shampoo throughout my locs and I never feel like I can shampoo them thoroughly enough. I can't wait to try this.
yeah, it's a really good
yeah, it's a really good series. at first I was like, am I really sitting here watching someone wash her hair! LOL. But yeah the spray bottle has left my locs feeling so much cleaner. I actually do the same routine as she shows here and since I have the tendency to have dry scalp, I am considering doing the no-poo method more often to reduce the dryness that the shampoos can leave. Thanxx for this post...
I'm always looking for fast, yet more effective ways to do things. My locs are becoming so long, and they are thicker than sistalocs....so this is helpful! I just wanted to say
that you could use Nature's Blessings for your dry scalp issues. (a lightweight, all natural hairdress) I normally switch my shampoos. If its natural, and smells good, I'll try it.
In the past I have used: Dr Bronners all natural peppermint,or lavender soap/shampoo, Let's Dread, Naani's, even Herbal Essence.
I find that switching up allows your hair maintain luster...without becoming dry or conditioned to one product.
