More money and shopping will not stop war
International aid has been tripled and yet darfur (like so many places are getting worse). I do not want to spoil the party but I do not believe in goodism and denial. I appreciate causes of charity(especially in emergency) but I tend to demand more of myself and the rest of the world. I frankly think m ore charity is not the answer. Most people do know that darfur problem is not just a war and hunger problem but a creation and reinforced evil of religions, oppression and the benefit of western countries. so really and truly, words apart how many people are willing to boycott the machine that feeds the evil affecting places like darfur???
No offense to anyone, just my opinion. I do charity though but I wonder..I do wonder if we are not all in denial.
