Greetings Beautiful SistahGoddesses!!!

I am in my birthday month - yes I am making it a whole month celebration of my life. As I look back on all that happened in this past year - I am saying WOW! I made it through. This year I ended an abusive marriage, lost all I had (materially) in a wicked divorce (but thank Goddess I was out that mess) and then a friend gifted me with a trip to Tanzania (my first trip to Afrika). On that trip I connected with the most Ancient part of me - I climbed Mt.Meru (the spirit mountain), I baptized myself in the waters of Mami Wata and I came home different...I was no longer a victim of life but a strong warrior Goddess who came to do the work she needed to do...And I am doing it...

During this whole healing process I started to make art - more specifically dolls. I had no idea what I was doing but suddenly these dolls where being birth. The first one I made I called Ma Ye Ye because she was like this Ancient Mother - she is now on my altar. The next few dolls where for friends. One doll was a healer with a medicine bag - and my friend says she request offerings from time to time. The other doll was a grandmother with her granddaughter. I then made one for a midwife. It was the first doll I did for someone I did not know too well. While I was making the doll I got messages "I need a pregnant belly." "I want bare breast and lots of beads around my neck." At first I thought nothing of it because the Sistah was a midwife. When I gave her the doll they instantly connected and four weeks later from the date I gave the midwife the doll she called saying she was pregnant! It is as if the dolls speak to a new chapter or a new vision in a Sistah's life. I believe I have been gifted to make them for people who need them.

I am so grateful for this gift and the many gifts the Creator has placed before me and NOW I want to celebrate my birthday month giving back...I have decided this month I will give away 4 Medicine Dolls and have a drawing each week. I have already posted it on my other blog at SistahGoddess.blogspot.com but I am posting it here as well so this Sistah Circle could submit their name and email to me if they are interested. The ONLY THING is that I ask you to pay for shipping - which should be inexpensive because the doll is not heavy (paper mache')....I will ship USPS priority only from ATL.

So, I hope you will enter if you are interested in one of my dolls. You can see some pictures at my etsy.com shop - my shop name is StarMedicineWoman. TO ENTER JUST EMAIL ME AT SISTAHGODDESS@GMAIL.COM Every Friday I will draw a name for a doll. You only need to enter once because I keep all the names for the next drawing. The drawing end on the 25th.

Thanks again for all the strong words of encouragement and wisdom that I read here often.

Peace,
SistahGoddess
