I Heard That!
Blessings Goddess Woman,
I heard that! I have looked at Mama Gena's site so I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes the cost is too great and we want to move forward with our learning.
From the information that I have garnered over the years and from certain experiences, I held a 13 month initiation process. Right now it is on hold, as I am going through an Initiation Process with Diva Mama Nut and it is awesome! Such a healing and still so much more to learn!
So, have fun, learn, remember and evolve!

Definitely an Addition
I meant to add Sobonfu. That CD collection is no joke. The Rite of Passage that they go through there is intense! I have an interview with her on Wisdom Talks which you can access by going to http://www.mosaradio.net.
Mysteries of the Dark Moon is also one that I have and forgot to add but glad you did as well as Opening to Spirit. Love that book! Thank you for your additons to the list and it keeps on growing.
Adding The Goddess and the Bull by Michael Balter and The Path of the Priestess by Sharron Rose.
I like your wish list. Wouldn't it be nice to have a Women's Mysteries Library? Just think of all the women who may not be able to afford purchasing these books but can access them in their city making sure to return them. :-)
Bless your heart dear SiStar. We're on!

Beyond Awesome!
My SiStar, my SiStar,
May your journey through these books be a most enlightening one. I know it was for me. Barbara G. Walker's Women's Encyclopeidia and Sacred Symbols books are a must have. The first one I mentioned took her 25 years to compile and I call it the Women's Bible. It is really juicy with tidbits of information that will open the mind to a new way of thinking. I was amazed.
It is time for us to write more books or as I am doing putting the information out in CD form because we can add a different flavor. Most of these books were written by Jewish woman and I give honor to them for bringing forth such wisdom and knowledge. They taught me well through their discoveries.
Have fun and start writing!

I'm lovin what I see...
This book list is booming.
There is a poem from Daughters of Copper Woman that I love & read often to give me strength. Prayerfully this speaks to someone.
"We must reach out to our sisters, all of our sisters, and ask them to share their truth with us, offer to share our truth with them. And we can only trust that this gift, from woman to woman, be treated with respect..."
I am the Sea
I am the Mountains
I am the light
I am eternal
This confusion is fog
there is light beyond
I sense it and feel its warmth
I move toward it
but not headlong
I fear to stumble
to fall with pain
There are women everywhere with fragments
when we learn to come together we are whole
when we learn to recognize the enemy
we will come to recognize what we need to know
to learn how to come together
I see the many smiling faces of my enemy
I know the pretense that is the weapon used
I have been the enemy
and learn to know myself well
The ones who talk only from the throat
see only we two eyes
hear only with two ears
but pretend to know more
are the enemy
I walk amidst shards
and fear laceration
I must dare to bleed
I must dare to cut myself
to amputate
the festering pain
I will learn to mix
medicine bags for those with faith
I will learn to chant the power chant
I will learn to mix
medicine bags for those with faith
I will learn to chant the power chant
and play the healing drum
I will not fear moss voices
water songs
small furry things with sharp teeth
or my own hesitancy
I am falling
I am falling
past star
past time
through space
and my own fragments
oh sisters the pain
I am scattered
I am scattered
Gather fragments
weave and mend
scattered fragments
weave and mend
In golden light
I recognize the enemy faces
fear of our bodies
fear of our visions
fear of our healing
fear of our love
fear of our sister kind
fear of our brother kind
fear of fear
love is healing
healing is love
There are women everywhere with fragments
gather fragments
weave and mend
when we learn to come together we are whole
when we learn to recognize the enemy
we will know what we need to know
to learn how to come together
to learn how to weave and mend
Old Woman is watching
watching over you
with her bones become a loom
she is weaving
watching over us
weave and mend
golden circle
weave and mend
sacred sisters
weave and mend
I have been searching
lost
alone
I have been searching
for son many years
I have been searching
Old Woman
and I find her
in
MySelf.
