My apologies for my late response, but we overstand that everything is in divine time. To answer your question goddess, there are several lovely books you can get that gives wonderful in-formation.

Book List (A few that are good references)

"African Wholistic Health", Dr. Lliala O. Afrika
"Heal Thyself", Queen Afua
"You Can Heal Your Life", Louise Hay
"Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome", Joy Leary
"The Seven Laws of Spiritual Success", Deepak Chopra

Try these on for size. I have a library of books, however those will keep you busy for a while.

As for education, you have many paths you can follow. You can self-teach, go to government accredited institutions or non-government accredited. If you would like to go the accredited route, Baystr College of Medicine in Seattle and others throughout the U.S haves programs for Naturopahtic Doctor, N.D. You can find plenty of in-formation on line about these accredited universities, the program takes 4-5 yrs to complete. Also under this accredited institutions you have Acupuncture and Massage Therapy Institutions. If you would like to go the non-government accredited way try Clayton College of Medicine(I believe that is the name),they do class for life holistic health consultants and life coaching just to name a few. These types of institution are non-government accredited because they deal with alternative healing, so don't be turned off by the terms. However, these institutions have non-governmental accreditation from other organizations and societies.

Lastly, Sistar you have classes that can be taken through, Dr. Lliala O. Afrika, which deems you a "Holistic Health Consultant". Also with this certification you can get a license as a Naturopath from D.C. Also, I believe Dr. Phil Valentine offers a course along the lines of a Holistic Health Certification also.

So, Miss Lady I hope I answered your question. Give me a shout if I can assist you any further.
