Mama Tips: Easy Fitness for Busy Moms

Being a busy mom requires a large amount of energy so it is important to get your proper intake of exercise, but we all know that finding time to exercise within our hectic schedules can be quite challenging. So, what to do? Well, if you have an energized child in the house, then the opportunities to get your workout in is closer than you think. Taking out just 15 to 30 minutes of your time everyday to jump and run around with your kids will raise your heart level, work up a sweat, and if you are really lucky, it will wear out your little one! One thing to remember is to always work in some crunches and stretching after each of your workout spurts.

Jumping In Place for 15 to 30 minutes works just as good as running on a treadmill. You will work up a sweat, your heart rate will rise, and you will feel like you just went to the gym. So don't feel as though you need expensive and heavy exercise equipment nearby. Let your kid(s) join in as well and be silly with your little one while doing it.

Lunge Around: Do repetitive lunges from one end of the room to the other. It won't take long to feel it working in your legs, thighs, and especially in your gluteals!

Run Around: If you live in a house, then go in your backyard and play “tag” or follow the leader, and have your little one run around while you follow him/her. They love this and think that you are really trying to get at em! If you live in an apartment, you can still do this if you have a large open room with little furniture in it.(who says there is no running in the house)

Tot Lifts: Lifting your bay or toddler into the air will work your your arms and abdominals, & your child will giggle with each and every lift.
