A few for good measure
By far, my fave line is Qhemet Biologics. www.qhemetbiologics.com. That line of products has almost singlehandedly changed the health and manageability of my hair.
Cosigning on the castor oil. Olive oil is great too.
Love animals, don't eat them!

moeshealoe (shea butter + coconut oil+ aloe vera gel)
I always love napptural hair topics ;o)
Since having locs, my routine has been all about super-simple wash-and-go.
Most of my hair routine is homemade.
I like to wash my branches with African soap and condition with coconut oil or aloe vera (depending on how dry or how much moisture I need).
I have plenty of fly away loose hairs at the roots ( with freeforming locs) so I tend to use a teeny amount of moeshealoe homemade goodness to keep my loose bits full of cutey curls lol.
More info on the recipe here: http://public.fotki.com/newmoe1/moeshealoe-/ .
If I ever did decde to cut my locs and start growing an afro, this homemade recipe would be the one I'd use! It keeps my loose hair really soft, full of moisture, defines it's natural texture and holds it in place all day. A little goes a looooong way and a tub of this lasts forever.
To keep my locs fresh during the day, I spritz with a water/lemongrass essential oil mix which I carry around and use freely. Smells SO yummy lol!
For products, I like Pantene's clarifying shampoo when I want a complete fresh boost! As I live in the city, my locs tend to soak up smoke/fumes/pollution very quickly so I use this to get rid of these nasties! Oyin hemp condish is also a conditioner favouurite!
And the most important tool for my locs is the soft brisstle brush - I LOVE brushing my locs! Sounds odd but it keeps my locs so soft and fluffy, attacks and removes any lint and feels real good! I do this after a good spritz, first thing in the morning and last thing at night! My scalp positively 'buzzes' after lol. Very relaxing.
Natural hair is so beautiful and unique!
