Hands down Bezem y Mai Lan are simply my favorite designers all around! How I wish I could step in a boutique that is filled with their collections of rich colors and patterns and cultural fusions and try on clothes to a beat of Africa, Salsa, Bollywood, Mexico, and an array of other influential cultures. I would love to be able to travel to Paris and attend one of their shows In which I highlight here, and rack up on beautiful dresses that I can adorn myself with. These excerpts of their fashion shows were just uploaded about a week ago and are amazing. My absolute favorite out of them all is the short dance of the pregnant woman (top left video). It literally made me want to cry because her genuine smile along with the movement of her blooming belly and serene tones was just too much beauty in one spot!
I also love how in the first video the dancer transitions from modeling to dancing and back to modeling again, and you all MUST watch the bottom left video when all of the girls are dancing on stage...the choreagraphy for that is fantastic!!!
