Long deep breathing and special meditation excersises will lead you to optimim health and wellbeing.
Breathing and meditation helps to exercise and cleanse your lungs. By breathing complete inhales and exhales a certain amount of times carries a specific benefit.
For instance, a special meditation called Sitali Pranayam can be practiced with 26 breaths. Once your finished 26 breaths you extend your life line. Correct breathing helps you live longer and healthier.
Sital pranayam is also great to alleviate anger and depression. It's great for children.
Here's the steps:
1. Sit in cross - legged position
2.Stick out your tongue partially and curl up the sides of your tongue
3.Sip in air through your tongue (imagine your tongue a straw)
4. Exhale out of your nose
Repeat this 26 times with longer and deeper breaths

Alright Sis! Much respect
Alright Sis!
Much respect for your devotion to your 4am rituals. Doing yoga at 4:30-7:30am is called Sadhana. There's a science to practicing yoga during that time. The sun is at a strong angle to the earth which causes an immense amount of energy at our disposal.
When we practice yoga during Sadhana we can clear our subconscious mind and raise our spiritual awareness greatly.
By the way, it's normal to have distracting thoughts or idle chatter. Most of the time that means that your subconscious mind is cleansing. Doing practices at 4:00 am will surface all the "junk".
Wonderful
Wow.. Give thanks so much Sis... that is a great tip.. inspires me and will start doing that.. will work great with my martial arts classes I start on Tuesday.. YAY

Yoga and Martial arts relate
Excellent! You go girl!
Yoga and Martial arts are of similar discipline. The both disipcline your mind and spirit. The small difference is yoga prepares you for inner war(thought, emotions, life's conflicts) and martial arts prepares you for outer war(self-defense and battle).
