"A new memorial at the African Burial Ground National Monument in New York City pays tribute to free blacks and slaves who were buried at the site more than two centuries ago." Did anyone go or has anyone gone to this? I think this is a beautiful monument that I would love to visit one day.

...however i find it a little perplexing why this isn't open passed 4pm during the week and is not open at all on the weekend. I want to take my daughter before i move out of NYC, this year.
