First I have to say thank you all for your support and on going prayers!

Unfortunately, my great niece Daisja Weaver has been murdered by her own blood- dad Alandus Weaver. My niece Tamaira Creagh, Daisja's mom has been a victim of abuse , physical/mental for a long time. According to her lawyers we the family are unable to speak (openly) regarding the case. Out of fear of her and her unborn child's life, she was coerced into silence for 24hours- along with making false statements to the police and the media. Saturday, was her breaking point away from an abusive boyfriend. Both parents have been charged with tampering with evidence, although she was actually an eye witness to coming home from working 9-9pm to find her daughter dead after being in his care all day.

This God forsaken situation has not only torn our family apart but has brought all of us together.It hurts...my brother had her at a young age putting me and my niece a lil over 10yrs apart. We started off close, as if she was my little sister- I truly had no idea of the type of hold this "so-called" man had on her.

On Wednesday an AMBER ALERT was issued for my brothers 9mo old granddaughter! Taken from her Dallas TX home around 11:30-midnight. After watching news clips and talking to family I continue to feel sadden by the disappearance of this baby. I take the time to remember the Lord...I know with prayer anything is possible- even to the point of sometimes not wanting to pray due to the out come. I continue to ask that you pray- For our family and the safe return of Daisja Weaver. There is a bad thunderstorm watch going on as we speak so the ground conditions are not great.

The action plan for today:

A-Our local family/friends in TX will conduct a search team

B- Pass out and post flyer's

C- Continue to talk to people.

Being so far away I feel my hands are tied behind my back. I just spoke with my niece a week ago.....I haven't even had the chance to see her and the baby since her birth. She's loved so much so pls. don't believe the saying" Out of sight, out of mind". One of the hardest positions in my life to be in right now...

I can only tell you how “SEXY” it feels….that’s right I said it “SEXY” because my “SEXY” is the joy of seeing my husband do the works of the LORD. Being able to provide for his family, himself as a man and not to mention ME.

People use to make marriage sound like a bowl of fruit…everybody wanted some. You were doing good if you had a little whip cream, if you know what I’m saying. Point is- Marriage isn't’t easy, if it was…what fun would that be. Working hard as a team has allowed us to see the fruits of our labor. I’m so HAPPY right now, I don’t know what to do with myself-

I've been apart of several Yahoo Art groups for at least 2yrs or more now, and I haven't came across one that represents us and all the talent we have to offer. I wanted to ask for direction as well as share what's going on with me- ATC's are Artist Trading Cards that are mini representations of artist work. They are only 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 in size and are not sold only traded. I have started a real blog for the first time and have images of my work I'd love to trade with other black artist. I also have set up "Swap's" which are themed cards that you create and trade among a group. My little mini me's (both of my children) are encouraged to express them selves thought art. So I invite all of your seeds ages 3-5 and ages 6-10 to come and create with us:) I'd like to host "Swaps" on this site as well so if anyone can direct me in the right direction, I'd be more than grateful.

I'm so excited about this new journey and would love for you to take a peek and leave some constructive feed back- I'm steady growing so any and all suggestions are more than welcomed.

I've been a mother for over 6yrs now. I remember being a young mom and my family would brush me off and even older moms would question my motherhood. When Mother's Day rolled around I would get all excited... for what? If you weren't celebrating my mom it didn't count. Deep in my soul I wondered "Y" Y do they say what they say & look at me the way they do? My own husband was clueless as to how to appreciate my worth-

It hit home when I recently found out that my mother had to tell my father to respect me by acknowledging that I AM A Woman, is Daughter who happens to be a MOTHER with not one, but 2kids at this point. Not to mention, I'm handling my business- Years later, my husband now goes out of his way to show me how he appreciates me not just Mother Day, everyday.

Is it me? I know I just missed a step along the way...question is- which one? Any and all assistance would be most grateful! I was able to upload my play list, yet after doing so it actually wasn't my play list at all! I'm looking at the list and the song don't even match those in which I added to my org. list. Not to mention I wasn't even able to control the song selection. After uploading the code several times I figured before I take it to some unknown level....lol...of frustration, seeking guidance would be in my best interest! :)
