But I've been living in my new hometown of Corning, NY for one month and 4 days and talk about a CULTURE SHOCK for this Brooklyn girl. I've been experiencing a lot of loneliness (missing sistahs with locs and brothas dressing like Cody Chesnutt walking down Fulton Street...not to mention my blood and spirit families), but my honey has been loving, kind and infinitely patient with me, and my goal is not not feel sorry for myself but to bring a lil bit of Brooklyn to Corning.
