Wow, I am blown away, I just viewed ur piece from July. I have to say that I agree, I too thought that because my moestation was not violent that I must of liked it. In fact I felt that I had fallen in love with my step father who was my abuser for ten years and I know have two children by. Unfortunalty my healing just started. When my children were ages 14 and 15, I picked up drugs as my mental foundation was starting to crack. I am now healing from both tragedies. I am taking my time and doing as through job as I can. I have to say that I never fully explored this abuse until now. I have been told to incorparate yoga into my routine. I was told this by a therapist. What affects did the yoga have with you and if you would could you suggest some readings. I am writing my life in an autobiograph form then I process it with my therapist and counselor, it is helping. Thanks for your courage and strength, it is inspiring.
I honor you and your courage for sharing YOUR story. To have been raped or molested by someone that should have been trusted in your life hurts a lot. It can be so very damaging when one does not have a strong spirit to pull it all together and you are doing just that. I give thanks!!!
Yoga helped me to connect to my spiritual foundation in a deeper way. It helped me to be more calm inside and out. It also made me realize that even though things happen, it all works together for good, even though it took me awhile to embrace that aspect :-)
In one of my blogs, there is a book list. Any and all of the books that are there would be a place to begin because it will help to empower you as a woman, as a Goddess, as the Divine Feminine Spirit that you are!!!
