'Like Water for Chocolate' and 'The Law of Love' by Laura Esquivel are both so full and spicy. 'Graceland' by Chris Abani was also full of life. In fact both authors fill their books with great recipes. Definitly worth reading and eating... Below is an anthology of poems I helped edit last November. My name is in it. What a gift...

I did not make it to the theater to see ST. However, I caught it on PPV this weekend. I absolutely enjoyed it! It was a mix of all of my favorite things, opera, broadway, suspense. Tim Burton did a fabulous job directing it. JD, well what can I say about him that hasn't already been said! He is such a talent! All the actors were fabulous. And man the twist at the end! It never crossed my mind that Mrs Lovett would be a "hater" LOL!
